“Autumn Eats” includes a three-egg omelet with griddled turnip, julienne carrots, butternut squash, roasted corn, escarole and cheddar cheese. “Got Pumpkin” is a short stack of pumpkin-swirl pancakes topped with sugar-pumpkin whipped cream. “Earth to Table” with its grilled portobello mushroom stuffed with baby spinach, mozzarella cheese, yellow squash, zucchini, grilled asparagus, sweet corn, carrots cherry tomatoes and topped with a parmesan hollandaise sauce won a TV Diner Platinum Plate Award. And they’re all made with Nellie’s Cage-Free eggs.
Cook and owner M-J Bailey’s uniques dishes change daily depending on what she finds at her local market. She combines daring and unexpected ingredients that turn nourishing food into one-of-a-kind, taste sensations.
Located at 127 Long Sands Road, the Stolen Menu Cafe serves breakfast and lunch Tuesday through Sunday and does catering as well. Expect a full house on weekends, so get there early for breakfast.
