Harvard Dining Services goes cage-free | Harvard University Dining Services recently announced that all eggs served in University dining halls, including both shell and liquid eggs, will be cage-free. According to HUDS Spokesperson Crista Martin, Harvard uses about 1.8 million eggs per year in its residential dining, retail dining, and catering activities. It purchases all of its shell eggs from Nellie’s Nest.
